First Time Mission Trip or Is it??

I don't have a overseas mission trip to share, truly this will be my first overseas mission trip. With this being said, I believe that our lives are 'missions'. Isn't it a mission to love the Lord God with all our heart, mind, soul, and strength? And to love our neighbor as ourselves? (Luke 10:25-37) In doing so I believe my mission started really, as a friend, then a wife, then a mom. My missions have grown and changed over the years. I was given a God opportunity to be a preschool teacher in a church setting to teach three and four year olds how Jesus' loves each of them (Luke 18:15-17) and that God fearfully and wonderfully made each of them, and I shall praise Him (Psalms 139:14). My current mission is serving the public through a pediatric office as a Certified Medical Assistant. So, even though I have not ever been on a mission trip, and this will be my first, I know that my heart belongs to God and it is a servant heart. I take joy in being used on a daily basis in order to bring a smile to a child and to help them know how loved they truly are, especially when they are not feeling well. God has shown up and showed off many times in my life, He has been able to reach and show love to others through my mistakes in my life and I am joyful in Him that He is able to use this broken vessel to reach others.
